Resources: Activism and Social Change
“The Center for Research on Social Change at the University of California, Berkeley is a research center dedicated to understanding the processes of social change that contribute to transforming conditions of inequality…A major focus of the Center is how immigration, globalization, economic restructuring, and development of new technologies are shaping and changing the structure and culture of various spheres within societies throughout the world.”
Girls For A Change (GFC) is a national organization that empowers girls to create social change. We invite young women to design, lead, fund and implement social change projects that tackle issues girls face in their own neighborhoods.
“The Research Center for Leadership in Action explores and broadly shares new knowledge and ideas about public service leadership.” The RCLA houses the Global Social Change Leadership Institute and provides information on courses and curricular materials addressing leadership and social change.
